Shipping times differ according to what your order contains. Handmade Embroidery pieces are dispatched within 1-3 business days and sent at a Standard shipping rate with DHL Deutsche Post. There is no guaranty for shipping speed with Standard Shipping, but this shipping is estimated at 1-3 business days within Germany, and up to 6 business days within the EU. For these items, there is no free delivery option and shipping fees apply. Orders from the Home and Accessories line are made to order and are usually ready to dispatchwithin 2-7 business days. Shipping is made at a worldwide standard rate and can take up to an estimated 7 business days from the dispatch date. Please take into consideration that due to Covid19, shipment delays are expected to occur and regular shipment times take longer than normal.

Yes, you can, as long as you contact me within 14 days after receiving your order. Once the return or exchange is set after contact, you must send your order back to the address from which it was posted within 30 days. Not complying with these deadlines means you are no longer entitled to an exchange or a refund. Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. All orders made from the Home and Accessories line get free shipping, at a world-wide standard rate. For orders of handmade embroidery pieces, a standard shipping fee of 4.99 Euros for orders within Germany, and of 8.89 Euros within the rest of the EU will be charged at checkout.

For Golden Thread Décor, eco-conscious means that each product is designed and made with an awareness of its ecological impact, and with the goal in mind of reducing it as much as we can. It also means that our products are made from either natural or organic materials (like the eco tote bag), biodegradable materials (like the biodegradable iphone case), materials that are sourced in a sustainable way (like our poster frames made from renewable forst wood), or are products that are durable and meant for multi-use in order to place an alternative to single use products (like the enamel mug). In traditional made-to-sell retail stores, products are made in large quantities and often exceed market demand. Around 85% of all textiles produced by the fashion industry end up in landfills, making it a major contributor to environmental damage. For that exact reason, Golden Thread Décor doesn't hold a stock of inventory but manufactures each item per order instead. That way we can avoid unnecessary waste and minimize our carbon emission to a minimum, and there is no leftover stock that gets thrown into landfills. This means that orders take a little bit of extra time, but this time equals an eco-conscious production process. Golden Thread Décor is very proud to be partnered with Printful. Inc, which as of February 2020, saved more than 16 US tons (14,923 kg) of plastic thanks to their made on-demand manufacturing process. Outside of made to order manufacturing process, carbon emissions are kept low since Printful. Inc has fulfillment centers all over the world (two of them within the EU). This allows each order to be fulfilled in the center that is closest to its shipping destination, to minimize the distance your order has to travel to get to you.
